Well known property lawyer Karien Hunter heads up this all female practice comprising attorneys, conveyancers and notaries pubic. Karien founded AMC Hunter Inc. in 1987. The firm specialises in all aspects of property and commercial law.

Karien is passionate about art and is also a keen golfer. She regularly plays with her husband and three boys.

Vanessa Buono oversees all conveyancing work done in the Durban office of AMC Hunter, as well as seeing clients in the Upper Highway area. She graduated from the University of KZN and is an admitted Attorney, Conveyancer and Notary Public. Vanessa’s interests include spending time with her family, swimming and reading.


Herkie Sandenbergh is our litigation attorney based in our Durban Head Office. He graduated from the University of Stellenbosch and is an admitted attorney and conveyancer. Together with Siobhan Perrigo he oversees the litigation department in Durban as well as Ballito. He has experience in all aspects of litigation and is able to assist in litigation enquiries in Durban and Ballito.
Herkie is an avid sports enthusiast, and enjoys running and playing golf.

Siobhan Perrigo oversees all work done in the Durban and the Amanzimtoti offices of AMC Hunter Inc. She graduated from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal and is an admitted attorney and conveyancer. She has also proved to be a highly skilled litigation attorney and an expert at resolving property disputes.

Siobhan is an outdoor enthusiast and has recently undertaken an overland trip into Africa.
