Karien’s journey began with a passion for justice and fairness. She founded AMC Hunter INC in 1987, growing it into one of the most respected boutique property law firms in KwaZulu-Natal. Her vision extends beyond her firm, driven by a deep love for Africa and its people.

Since joining AMC Hunter Inc. in October 2018, Saijal Pale has made her mark as a dynamic force within the firm. As a Director, Conveyancer, and Notary Public, Saijal wears many hats; from overseeing the bonds department and driving compliance, to ensuring the smooth running of the firm’s day-to-day operations.

What truly sets Saijal apart is her deep-rooted passion for problem-solving. For her, there’s nothing more rewarding than turning a challenge into a win and seeing the smile on a client’s face, knowing she played a part in making their journey easier.

She believes the heartbeat of AMC Hunter Inc. lies in its culture: people first, always. “It’s not just about the bottom line,” she says. “We genuinely care — about each other, and about our clients.”

Her proudest moment? Stepping into the role of Director; a title that reflects years of hard work, growth, and dedication.

Outside the legal world, Saijal is a creative soul. She finds joy in painting, loves spending time with family and friends, and expresses herself through cooking. Oh, and don’t be fooled by her calm presence, she’s a full-blown adrenaline junkie who’s always up for the next thrill!

Juraisha Naidoo

Attorney & Conveyancer | Bond Department

Juraisha Naidoo has been a valued member of AMC Hunter Inc for 4 years, bringing both heart and skill to her role in the Bonds Department. Specialising in Nedbank and Standard Bank bond registrations as well as FNB bond cancellations, Juraisha thrives in the dynamic environment of conveyancing; particularly enjoying the exposure to people from all walks of life. Whether it’s clients, agents, or colleagues, she values the diversity of perspectives and cultures she engages with daily.

One of Juraisha’s proudest moments was being admitted as a conveyancer, an accomplishment that reflects her dedication and passion for the legal profession. She believes what sets AMC Hunter Inc. apart is the firm’s exclusive focus on conveyancing and notarial services, allowing for deeper client relationships and a stronger understanding of their needs.

Outside of work, Juraisha is deeply committed to charity work and enjoys giving back to her community whenever she can. And while she loves good food, you’ll usually find her not in the kitchen, but keeping the cook company, adding warmth and laughter to every gathering.

Philani Mathe has been part of the AMC Hunter Inc. team for over four years, bringing passion, dedication, and fresh insight to our Transfer Department. As a legal practitioner, he thrives on the intellectual challenge of solving legal problems and finds great reward in using his knowledge to make a real impact for clients; whether that means educating them, crafting tailored solutions, or guiding them through complex property transactions.

His work focuses primarily on conveyancing and the drafting of agreements, where his precision and legal acumen shine. Philani values AMC Hunter Inc.’s client-centred approach and collaborative culture, and believes our firm’s strength lies in its deep expertise and genuine care for the people we serve.

One of Philani’s proudest milestones is obtaining his Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree while working at AMC Hunter Inc; a testament to his drive and commitment to growth.

Outside of the office, Philani’s world is just as vibrant. He plays brass in his church band, is a Marvel Comics enthusiast, loves a good game of soccer with his brothers, and enjoys online gaming, reading, and music. A fun fact? Philani can speak 8 of South Africa’s 12 official languages; a superpower that proves surprisingly useful in the legal space!

Her vast experience and time with the firm have allowed her to gain insight into every department, making her a key support figure behind the scenes.

She is passionate about ensuring clients receive the best possible service and takes pride in maintaining the smooth operation of the firm. One of her proudest achievements has been the opportunity to learn and understand the inner workings of each area of the business; a testament to her commitment and versatility.

Outside of work, Loryn enjoys sewing, reading, and walking; quiet hobbies that reflect her calm and thoughtful nature.

With over two decades of dedicated service at AMC Hunter Inc, Deshini Moodley is a cornerstone of our team. Since joining in 2004, she has played a key role in the Bonds and Transfers Department, working primarily on Absa and FNB bond registrations as well as related transfers. Her years of experience and deep understanding of the process have made her a trusted point of contact for both colleagues and clients alike.

As someone who thrives on human connection, Deshini loves interacting with clients and ensuring their experience is as seamless and stress-free as possible. Her approachable nature and commitment to service excellence have earned her numerous accolades from bank clients over the years, a reflection of the high standards she consistently upholds.

While the process of bond registration might follow a set path, Noelene finds joy in the different challenges each matter brings and in ensuring a smooth experience for her clients through consistent, clear communication.

Specialising in Standard Bank and SA Home Loans bond registrations, Noelene is known for her professionalism and commitment to keeping clients informed and happy throughout their property journey.

A standout moment in her career has been the coordination and teamwork involved in handling large batches of development bonds, a task that showcases her collaborative spirit.

Since joining AMC Hunter Inc. in January 2021, Leanne has become a valued member of the team, specialising in the registration and cancellation of FNB Complex lending bonds. What brings her the most joy in her role is witnessing the excitement of clients when their matters register at the Deeds Office and they officially become homeowners; moments that make her work deeply rewarding.

Leanne is known for her determination and her ability to help the team achieve what often seems impossible. One of her proudest personal achievements during her time at AMC Hunter Inc. has been stepping out of her shell. Once an introvert, she credits her supportive colleagues with helping her become more expressive and confident in the workplace.

When she’s not helping clients, Leanne enjoys creating, reading, writing, listening to music, and savouring good food. A fun fact? Her music taste is an eclectic mix; she’s equally passionate about rock, heavy metal, and classical music.

Fosca Greco joined AMC Hunter Inc. at the end of 2024 and has already made her mark in the Bond Cancellations Department. With a hands-on approach and a passion for learning, she finds joy in the daily variety her role offers; from working with new clients to navigating unique scenarios that contribute to her professional growth.

Fosca currently focuses on conveyancing, specifically assisting with bond cancellations, and has recently expanded her skills to include SA Home Loans (SAHL) cancellations, an achievement she’s particularly proud of.

What makes AMC Hunter Inc. stand out to her is the genuine, personal connection formed with clients throughout the transaction. For Fosca, many clients start as strangers and end as friends.
