That’s A Wrap – An End Of 2019 Message From Our Director

Dear clients, partners and friends. 

From myself, Karien Hunter, my Co-Director Sarikha Singh and the staff at AMC Hunter INC – we wish you a Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and prosperity in 2020. 

Thank you once again for your support in 2019, each and every client is truly valued. 

A Recap of 2019

2019 has been a truly interesting year, and I am very proud of what my AMC Hunter INC staff has achieved this year.

I want to give accolades to my partner Sarikha Singh and Deshini Moodley (our Absa and FNB paralegal) who took top honours once again for Absa as their top-performing conveyancer in KZN for 2019. 

This is a real feather in our cap; speaking to the depth and quality of work in our practice. This level of quality and dedication has become part of our DNA at AMC Hunter INC. 

Overall, it has been a good year. And we plan on building on the strength of 2019 as a firm, moving up another notch in 2020. 

Ultimately, our work is about client satisfaction and giving and getting feedback. At this point in my career, it is truly satisfying to know that we have happy clients. 

Outlook for 2020

For 2020 the outlook is that the economy might still remain in the doldrums as it has been in 2019. But what we have seen, which is encouraging, is a greater appetite from the banks to lend out money and growing confidence in that sector.

We haven’t seen this post the 2008 credit crunch, and I think people are now buying homes for the right reasons; which is “I want to buy a family home; I am going to pay off my bond over 20-30 years.” That’s how you build a stable economy. 

That’s what excites me when you see people getting into property and getting onto the property ladder. While you still see investor buying, the solid reasons to purchase homes are the core of what we do, and I believe the core of a strong and sustainable economy.
